Di Hobson, CurliWinks Devon Rex

After growing up with cats and with a family that bred and showed cats, I became a registered breeder of Devon Rex in New Zealand in 2001 under the CurliWinks prefix.

My first Devon Rex, Mr Ripley was my start into showing cats and I haven’t stopped showing since then!  I have been lucky enough to win many Best in Shows and Breeders Awards of Merit over the years.

After many years of breeding Devon Rex and showing them, I decided to have a new challenge and embarked on specialising in the Longhair version of the Devon Rex.

After getting them accepted with the NZCF in 2021 I have started promoting and showing this lovely version of the Devon Rex.

I am also so proud to see CurliWinks cats popping up in pedigrees here and in Australia and focus on producing healthy, well-adjusted examples of this gorgeous breed.

The health of my cats is paramount to me and when Black Hawk was launched in New Zealand I started feeding my cats exclusively on Black Hawk.

CurliWinks Devon Rex are fed Black Hawk Original Chicken dry food as well as the wet food range and I have seen wonderful muscle tone and coats as a result of feeding these products. All kittens are raised on Black Hawk and leave CurliWinks with a Black Hawk kitten pack.

Becoming a Black Hawk Cat Ambassador is a perfect match for me being a proud user and advocate for the Black Hawk cat and dog food ranges.
