Robert & Chloe Armatys

Chloe and Robert have both grown up immersed in the world of purebred dogs, bringing together close to 50 years of combined experience in showing, breeding, and owning pedigree dogs.

Our passion currently lies with the Collie Rough and Dachshund Standard Long breeds. Over the years, we've been privileged to experience many memorable moments, including Best in Show wins at both All Breeds and Specialty Shows. We've bred and owned numerous Champions, Grand Champions, and Supreme Champions - and in recent years, have been fortunate to have dogs recognised as number one in Australia in various categories.

Our breeding philosophy focuses on producing sound, healthy, and versatile purebred dogs, which involves comprehensive health testing, thoughtful research, and selective importing to improve and preserve breed quality. With a strong foundation in breed standards and reputable knowledge, we aim to breed for conformation, obedience, herding, scent work, trialing, and even assistance roles.

Over the years, we’ve come to learn that preparation begins with nutrition - and when we introduced Black Hawk into our feeding program, we noticed a clear difference. Our dogs were happier, healthier, and in fantastic condition.

They thrive on the naturally sourced ingredients in Black Hawk - with shiny coats, healthy skin, and overall excellent wellbeing. That’s why we not only feed it ourselves, but proudly recommend Black Hawk to others.
