Having grown up with a variety of dog breeds as part of the family, my association with Old English Sheepdogs began in 1974 with the purchase of a pet that soon turned into a show dog with great success.

Since then my love of the breed has resulted in the import of Old English Sheepdogs from Canada, Europe and USA to ensure superior bloodlines, outstanding breed type and excellent health histories in our breeding program which can be seen in the wonderful dogs we produce today. I am passionate about health issues.

Ottaba prides itself on ensuring that all dogs in my breeding program are extensively DNA tested. My success in the show ring speaks for itself however our dogs are our pets first and show dogs second. My puppies only go to homes that can provide the same level of commitment to their dog that I do. I am committed to providing happy and healthy puppies.

A large part of my success can be attributed not only to my breeding program but also to my commitment to feeding top quality food. I believe that what you put in determines what you get out and to that end, I proudly feed and recommend Black Hawk.

I provide ongoing support for all puppy and dog owners through the Black Hawk Ambassador program and am always available to answer questions and give advice.
